Steamed Dhokla Recipe is a famous Gujarati snack that can be made in many ways. It can be made with semolina or gram flour. But in this minute, this healthy steamed dhokla, made in minutes, is made with gram flour and colorful tempering. You can also eat steamed dhokla with breakfast or evening tea.

Ingredients to make steamed Dhokla: To make it, gram flour, oil, curry leaves, baking soda, and turmeric are needed. After the dhokla is prepared with gram flour, it is inserted in the form of rye and curry leaves.

How to serve steamed dhokla: You can serve it with green chutney.

Ingredients For Stimmed Dhokla

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1 tablespoon citric acid
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Water to make a mixture
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
For tempering
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon mustard
  • One (dry) red chilly
  • 7-8 Curry Leaf


Steamed dhokla making Instructions

  • Mix gram flour, citric acid, salt, sugar, and turmeric in a bowl. Add water and make the paste smooth. Keep the mixture paste lightly thick.
  • Put baking soda and water in a glass and put it on the dhokla mixer.
  • Lubricate the steam pots and add the mixture to it.
  • Cook for 16-21 minutes by steaming it.
  • In a pan, add oil, mustard, curry leaf, and red chili and put it on the dhokla that is ready. Cut into a grind and serve it.
